...do you know how moronic you look?
You basically imply that its more prestigious to lose earlier than Finals, meaning you are completely fine with a player being 1 of 1 in Finals and choke or even deliberately quit before Finals arrive (knowing he will probably lose knowing his supporting cast will nowhere be enough against the opponents he will be facing) as long as he can have that perfect winning percentage..... which hence means you dont commend a player giving his absolute everything in the playoffs to get his team (no matter how lousy) to the Finals IF he loses there....
Screw Lebron, i dont care about that, yes your logic started only due to him / due to your blinded hatred for him but it also blinded you from your own basketball judgements, while trying to devalue him you are also devaluing everybody else in the process, the game of basketball itself.... and that is unacceptable for me.... even if you would have it your way guys like John Havlicek (8of8), Scottie Pippen(6of6) and so on would be stacking up the Top 10....
Hell, the best Finals performers in NBA history won nothing or won only once out of millions Finals appearences..... guys like Elgin Baylor who put up the best single Finals productions ever & broke records like 61 points or Jerry West for example:
Jerry West - "1 of 9 in Finals"
Finals #1 - 31/5/3 - loss
Finals #2 - 30/7/5 - loss
Finals #3 - 34/6/3 - loss
Finals #4 - 34/6/5 - loss
Finals #5 - 31/6/6 - loss
Finals #6 - 38/5/7 - loss
Finals #7 - 31/4/8 - loss
Finals #8 - 19/4/8 - win
Finals #9 - 21/3/5 - loss
Thats not a loser, thats a WINNER, especially considering the best team of all time he was repeatedly doing this against most of the time who had the best defender in NBA history and arguably GOAT..........
You can be the greatest to lace em up and never win a NBA Finals, this is a total team accomplishment, the only time you can discredit a players Finals appearance is only if he played way under his standards..... but if he played great, did his thing, then its not rational at all, a player can control only how he plays, he cant control those others, this is not NBA 2K14.....
This was most evident with guys like Elgin Baylor or Jerry West, it was never more evident, infact the NBA felt so junky about that they broke their FMVP requirements for the 1st and last time in NBA history.... by giving him at least one Finals MVP despite losing.... if the truly best player in Finals got the FMVP all the time then you certainly wouldnt look at it "haha he is 1 of 9 in Finals" way because West could hypothetically had the most FMVPs in NBA history and almost zero championships.........
Now please leave that nonsense alone, even if its a joke it never was funny, you are only clouding your own basketball judgements making yourself look stupid by aberration....
This is not a thread for debate because there is rationally nothing to disagree/debate with here, its just a disquisition.... a call for your own wisdom...
Either grow up or continue to look birdbrained.... its only your own path....
over and out
