Sony Xperia Z1 Compact or ....

Help me out, does anyone have any experience with this phone? Can anyone recommend me some alternatives in the same price range maybe? I heard that even though this phone has 20MPX camera the pictures look worse than the pictures taken with phones with 8MPX.
