Right when Plies departed from the scene, 2 Chainz came right in to pick up the pieces. 2 Chainz would have a career similar to Smitty or Rich Boy if it wasn't for Plies leaving the game.

It was perfect timing. Plies was the hood star, Mr. Ratchet Man of the south and here comes 2 Chainz, new name and all getting ready for the takeover.

They even had similar backgrounds. Brainy kids who went on to play college ball.

I see the comparison definitely bit I'd rather ride around my side of town listening to 2 Chainz than Plies. Both are obnoxious on the track, but I get that ignorant n*gga music vibe when listening to Chainz that can suit the whip. Plies has too many songs for the ladies for me and Tity Boi's syllable and wordplay game is a level above Plies when he wants it to be.

2 chainz has a better flow/vioce which is like 80% of what makes someone interesting to listen to. Not that hes...interesting...but there are songs hes on with much better rappers that he takes nothing from because of his laid back flow and not quite clever but somewhat amusing lines.

Worst rapper by a mile but he took nothing from the song. He didnt match Krit or Bun(Krit had one of his best verses)...but he held his own.

Plies ruins both those songs.

They got 2 totally different styles. Titty boy got better bars too(not saying much) and is more of the club type rapper.

Plies is a hood type that rap about stuff that go on in the hood.(he's a college dude though)

Plies' real ***** mixtapes and that one album kills everything Titty boy has done.

Honestly Titty boy was better when he was with DTP. Plies still making some decent ratchet music.
