Yeah it's a good show for sure. I get kinda of embarrassed when they talk about NBA and it's history they aren't experts on basketball that's for sure.

It's entertaining but It's not really informative unless they're interviewing someone.

They are good people, but they don't offer much information.

About 5-6 years ago was watching it religiously. Good vibes generally, talking sports "around the water cooler" kinda show. Haven't watched it in a good year or two though

Nah.. its actually quite bad. They are the only game in town though. I would much rather watch NFL A.M. Greeny is a terrible whining metrosexual, and Golic is a blubbering idiot who was a fringe (at best) NFL player who thinks he knows everything. I hate when they bring Chris Carter on. What a hypocritical ego maniac. i loved when he tried to bag on the Seahawks wrs for being nobodies and they came back and told him to google their Superbowl Rings..

I usually have it on while I'm getting dressed in the mornings. I'm sort of torn between it's mediocrity and it's lighthearted tone. Frankly they're not really experts on much of anything, other than Mike having an inside knowledge of football, especially the process portion of it.
I'm of an age where Greeny's Seinfeldian comic sensibility can come up off as brilliant or annoying.
And I do agree that because of their typically lighthearted approach, they do annoy me when they get too uppity about most things. Especially Greeny.
I miss Mike and The Mad Dog, which is really a what they're based on, but it's a much much more watered down version.

yeah, that show sucks. Ryen Russillo is okay in small doses and is the only radio personality they have that knows anything about the nba. But espn radio as a whole is terrible, their podcasts are slightly better. Really, the only worthwhile audio component of their empire are the various grantland based podcasts (Lowepost, etc). Everything else is shite.

I was listening to Mason and Ireland for a bit, but they've regressed of late. Anyone know entertaining sports radio / stations?

I prefer listening to a single sports guy because when you have 2 guys, it seems like one has to disagree with the other just for the sake of argument.

Dan Patrick and The Dannettes are much better to listen to (IMO).
