Zoran Dragic's deal is worth $3.5 million over two years with the Suns.

Suns move again. Guard #6

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/25/report-suns-signing-zoran-dragic/

After re-signing Eric Bledsoe, the Suns have not stopped stockpiling guards to go with Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas, Tyler Ennis, Gerald Green and Archie Goodwin.

As expected, Phoenix has also signed Goran Dragic’s brother, Zoran Dragic.

The Suns can pay $600,000 of that buyout without it counting against the cap. They’ll probably do that, offsetting the salary they would have made him by that amount.

Zoran might have a tough time breaking into Phoenix’s rotation immediately, but he provides nice depth. As he showed competing for Slovenia during the World Cup, the younger Dragic is a crafty scorer and solid passer.

The Suns now have 15 players – including Markieff Morris and Marcus Morris, another set of brothers – so they might be done for the offseason.

Suns promoting brotherly love. Won't be long before they trade for Mason now.

Bledsoe must get moved for some depth in C/PF position, possibly at the start of the season. This is some scary perimeter lineup, but without inside scoring and defense that does not mean shit.

Suns were not good defensively for quite some time (nash era) so decided to add plenty of guards this year :applause:

One of Zoran's sticking points should have been getting an awesome nickname.

His brother got one of the sickest nicknames in all of sports, and Zoran's is going to be "Dragon's bro"

Who is no. 15? Shavlik? Or is it Bogdan?

CRAZY 3rd string tho, good enough to be a regular bench

I would be surprised if the Suns trade one or two of their PGs, they just way too many PGs right now.

Suns will eventually sign Mason, book it! :lol

Man, i hope the Suns don't trade or lose Goran Dragic now. (Though signing his brother reflects otherwise) I love him in PHX but i wouldn't mind seeing him on a contending team of course. Bledsoe, Dragic, Thomas, Ennis, Bogdanović (In the next 2-3 years) and now Zoran. PHX making some nice moves at the PG/SG positions for sure. Add on top of that Green who has played the best in his career and 20 yr old Archie Goodwin.

Only thing i don't like right now is the 14 mil a year and no opt outs for 5 years on Bledsoe's contract. Any injury in the next 1-2 seasons could blow that deal right on PHX's face. Especially if they fail to keep Dragic, although almost every where i read states he has no plans of leaving. No doubt they will have to pay him some good money either way to stay which gives them ultimately no money to sign a quality big long term next off season.

I wonder if they will work a deal for a big in exchange for one of their guards before the trade dead line this season. They could use a better big in their rotations for sure and right now i see Isaiah being that trade chip. Whether it's this season or next off season we'll see. PHX might very well wait to see if Bledsoe is 100% before attempting another move though.

Chemistry played a big role in the Suns success last season... and I think that chemistry may be at risk. Suns have a lot of mouths to feed right now, and somebody is going to go hungry.

Suns should hire D'Antoni back and run the 4 seconds or less offense. Give each PG 10 quality minutes per game to jack up two games worth of shots.

Be sure Bogdan is not coming until the Suns unload a couple of guys on the guard spot. He should be ready to come next year, but he's not coming unless there is some playing time to be awarded...

Read somewhere he's won't be able to join the Suns for the next two seasons. The Suns will be making moves. They are good from spots 1-3, but their frontline lacks so much. Just hoping they keep the Dragons n Goodwin.

They could use Bogdan's contracts or rights, whatever and trade for a scoring SF. I think a Jeff Green type player would be a good fit for them.

What exactly are the Suns doing? Do they need more guards? I think the Suns really need Steve Nash. They lack depth at the guard position, and Nash is a Hall of Famer!
