read up on this shit as much as i could do in a hour. i have Roku3 and its awesome, but hate inputting shit letter by letter.

So i'm checking out slickdeals and they're talking about Amazon FireTV being the best SO LONG AS U THROW XBMC INTO IT. I never heard of that shit but read and researched further and apprently its like some app you download, which was originally created for the XBox, where u can have a much better interface and do torrents kind of shit with illegal movies on your TV.

not to mention its much more powerful than the other TV streaming interfaces.

anyways just got this from Office Depot or some shit like that for like $75~ with tax, should come tomorrow. Let me know if i fukked up :cheers:

All you need is a pc/laptop and a tv to hook it up to. When I didn't have cable I would just stream everything.

Nowadays all you need is a laptop and the internet.

Roku has a remote app you could download for your smartphone. A lot easier to type on your phone.

right now im trying out the FTV and install XBMC and having an issue with buffering. Its buffering all of my movies. Dont think its a network issue, cause with my htpc with the same movies no issue. IF i could resolve this buffering issue then im keeping it. Great little device for 74 bucks.
