I just read a article that he was accused of rape in in 2000. Didn't know that. Wow. Do you guys think he really do it?

There were rumors he retired due to another case potentially coming out.

Kind of incredible as to how overlooked some cases can be depending upon name power and circumstance. I vaguely remember Ron Mercer being involved but had little care for Billups at the time so I did not remember it being him.

The woman said she dated Walker several
times, then after socializing with Walker,
his two roommates, and two former
teammates - Ronald Mercer and Chauncey
Billups - at a Boston comedy club on Nov.
9, 1997, the men invited her back to
Walker's home.

After arriving at the Waltham condominium,
the woman said, she was raped by Mercer,
Billups, and Walker's roommate, Michael
Irvin. A medical examination performed at
Boston Medical Center the next day
revealed bruises on the woman's body and
injuries to her throat, cervix, and
rectum, according to the Appeals Court
decision.

The woman said Walker walked in on the
alleged attack in Irvin's bedroom, and
Irvin asked Walker, ''Don't you want
some?'' The woman said Walker declined and
left.http://www.igtc.com/archives/celtics/1999/Oct/msg00106.html

Did Celtics fans chant "Guilty guilty guilty" every time Billups comes back to Boston?

She could be lying, covering up her gang bang fantasies, but that sounds deplorable. I'd never want to treat any woman that way ... gross, too much respect for them to do that. Even if I fundamentally would view one as a sexual object.

That's probably the reason why Chauncey won't be a head coach in the nba. The me too movement would definitely attack him.

He was never convicted.

There is no hard evidence that he is guilty of rape.
