It's a sad day for all. It takes two shows to replace the greatness that is Shawn, Marlon and Pops.


MTV2 has replaced it with The Jamie Foxx Show and the Tracy Morgan Show (the fckin Tracy Morgan Show!)
Centric haa replaced it with Family Matters and My Wife and Kids. At least another Wayans is getting some shine.


PS. Nick@Nite also stopped showing Hangin' with Mr. Cooper but on the bright side some new station Family Net now shows Malcolm & Eddie.

Kizzle, why don't they make young black sitcoms like Martin, the Wayans and JFS anymore?

Hughleys and My Life and Kids were a'ight but it centered too much around family life.
Young comic market is poor. Kevin Hart has a show that is hilarious.

Hannibal Burres should get a show.

Early to mid 90s was the best time for young comics. Hell even C-List comics like Flex Alexander was staring in a series.

Yeah, a lot of 90's young black sitcoms was because of UPN and WB, then Buffy and Dawson's Creek came along and they started catering to white teens. lol
They were getting shows before UPN and WB even.

-John Henton Robert Townsend Sinbad and Eddie Griffin on Fox
-Bernie Mac on HBO
-The Wayans Bros was originally to air on CBS starting in 1994 but they recieved a better deal on the upstart WB network (as in the show wont get cancled after one season.)

I heard but don't believe. Martin and Tisha weren't even filming scenes together halfway through the season.

Ugh last season Martin and Gina moved to California, Pam went off as a record exec. I think Cole married Shanice. So how exactly are they getting back together 18 years later?
