Getting this on PS4 because my friends were asking me to. Anyone else play it? Surprised there's not a thread already.

After the big acquisition by microsoft I thought about trying it out again. Never did get way into minecraft but I gave it a good spin years ago.

Played it a lot back in 2009-2010. The more it expanded, the less interesting it got for me. It was still alright last time I tried a couple years ago.

I can't imagine playing it on console tho. Do you have the working servers, mods, etc? I'm surprising how popular it is on phones, tablets, etc. It feels like it needs to be a PC game last time I tried.

Servers yeah, mods not really. 4j Studios (the company that does the ports) does skin/texture packs at a cost.

I played it on xbox 360 & pc, i prefer console purely for controls.

I tried it on my phone, but that shit is ridiculous. Fairly enjoyable, i don't get very far as i just try to build a wicked castle.
