Damn!
But seriously, MJ shaved that head and dealt with it. Not covered up his hairline with a progressively bigger headband whenever he read something about his hairline :oldlol:
I think Lebron let's posters and media get inside his head. He is always covering up insecurities :coleman:

It's not that Lebron has a receding hairline. That's something many people have. It's that he uses more and more elaborate ways of hiding it that makes it entertaining.
I say you do it MJ style and get rid of it altogether, or go the Drexler route and fully embrace male pattern baldness.

Yea, that's ultimately the point. It's the blatant insecurity. Everyone is on their way to becoming bald. That was never the joke to me. It was the head band going higher, and higher. Acceptance, and move on. He wasn't a sex symbol, or a movie star. Who cares if it's receeding? Happens to a lot of men after say 25 years old. Nothing to be ashamed of. And all that still, the LeBron jokes were played out by 2011. No one care MJ had male patterned baldness. He accepted it, shaved it all off, and created a trend.

So the joke was about a man going bald who is trying to cover it up? Welcome to 300 years ago? Frankly the fact that these idiotic posts about HAIR get more responses than actual threads about BASKETBALL (the topic of this board?) is hilariously pathetic.

Where was I laughing at LeBron, MJ, or disagreeing these threads are stupid? I said in my very post the LeBron insecurity, and cover ups was funny in 2011. By now it's just played out, and pointless.

Wasn't really directed at you. As far as Jordan stans go you are like the unasked mayo you get on a sandwich...annoying, but you can wipe it off.

Trying to be 'like Mike' is not always a good thing. Take the way Jordan dresses. Young Lebron tried it and realized it looked retarded. Ever since I think he's clearly shied away from doing things the "Jordan way". Can you blame him?:

Jordan's hairline decreasing at an incredible rate. No more tricky camera angles, or lighting could hide the fact his Hair was no longer there.
Air Jordan went to Hairless Jordan.
All left was a moonroof.
A great all around game, however his all around hair coverage was not there.
While Jordan may have reached his All Time High, his Coif reached an All Time Low.
In 1991, MJ let go of what was left... And finally became a winner.
Imagine what happens if 'Bron goes bald http://hoops-nation.com/community/public/style_emoticons/default/OhRlly.png

slow days on ISH...balding being a topic of concern :facepalm
here's some info for reference...
25% of males start to bald at age 30
about 2/3rds of men have hair loss by 35
85% have significant thinner hair by age 50
Lebron's approaching 30 and has a receding hairline, same as 1 out of every 4 posters in this thread
Don't really do this but can't help it when posts are in the threads that are next to each other.
Still, MJ wasn't wearing oversized headbands to cover up insecurities :oldlol:
It's great to be good role models and if basketball players want to be squeaky clean off the court, I'm all for it.
However, athletes should not be judged on off court issues.
Not any of my concern.
Only thing basketball players should be held accountable for is how they went about playing basketball and things related to basketball.
You're judging lebron on his hairline but you just posted they shouldnt be judged on off court issues. :confusedshrug:

I made that comment based on someone calling MJ out for being bald.
