North America has absolutely NOTHING similar to the pyramids, the closest I can think of are the Aztec and Mayan pyramids but they were made thousands of years after the Egyptian ones and aren't as big.

Ancient mesopotamia is the oldest recorded history that we have. The first people came from Africa though. Africans started slavery. Africans taught the European explorers about trading slaves. Slavery died out in Europe after Christianity spread, before they started trading with the West Africans. African leaders continued to trade their own people to Europeans in exchange for wealth and goods.

Africa played an equal part with Europe and North America in the travesty that was the African slave trade.
