To me, Nets would be better off if Prokorov isn't in charge. For all his talk, the second the Nets weren't trending the right way financially, he cut payroll and looked to sell. I don't see his value as controlling part owner. Honestly, I see him selling fully at some point soon anyway.
Secondly, damn the Nets are boogiey now. You'll need a suit and tie to go to games.

I think he wants to sell for compliance reasons, because hes a russian billionaire and i would not be surprised if sanctions get to him.

No more Brooklyn Nyets?
Can anyone explain to me why a RUSSIAN billionaire, who could do anything he wanted around the globe...wanted to buy an American Sports Franchise in the first place? Um....why?

Because he's a businessman and a basketball fan and thought it was a good investment? What's hard to understand about that? It turns out he was correct. Can you explain to me why that's hard for you to understand please?

I forgot who it was I had heard this from but someone was talking about how it seemed like Prokorov was trying to get out because he was over the whole NBA thing.

Hes getting out to avoid sanctions because he was doing some shady financials. Either way him or the Guggenheim Group its still HUGE money for this team. The next few years are gonna be rough with some bad contracts but whatever. When theyre off the books, we got money to burn.
In the mean time just gonna have to ride it out
