It was not a good list but the inclusion of Alex English probably was what made it so terrible.

They did something similar about 8 years back on TNT and the list was:

A list came out that was the 50 greatest players, so understand those spots are taken. That would be 50/50... then that's adding 10 more, but you can't take out anyone of the 50 because the list is already done (is how I understand it.)

So, there are only 10 spots, thus skewing it to dudes who may have made it had the list been truly top 60... because they could take people away from the original list. So it's almost more like top ten since the list came out + guys who probably should have made it.

The "Next Top 10" should be players kicked out of the aforementioned top 50. Both Kobe and LeBron are top 10 players, while Payton, Dirk, and Nash (there are more, just lazy to list em) are top 50 easily.
