Chris Paul is slow. Couldn't get separation even with those dribble moves.

I don't know. Paul is more conservative, Kyrie is flashier. They're both about as good as it gets.

paul is the better ball handler. he's got quicker hands. but he's slow and methodical and rarely takes risks. this allows him to run an offense exceedingly well but occasionally makes him too passive.

kyrie is the better slasher. he's got quicker feet that he uses to beat his man to the hoop or create space for his jumpshot. he's willing to take risks which often lead to mistakes but this makes him dynamic and unpredictable.

kyrie is just a different mold of the westbrook mentality that will probably be tempered by playing with lebron. chris paul shares westbrook's tenacity but not his rash erratic style of play.

CP3 is quite flashy too. Kyrie is quicker. They're both cream of the crop when it comes to handle in the league. Craft, savy, creative, and break lots of ankles.

CP3's change of pace dribble is better

One guy turns it over 2.7 times per game, and manages to rack up 6 assists per game in doing so.

The other guy turns it over 2.3 times per game, and gets 10.7 assists per game.

There are more to turnovers than just handling the ball, as you very well know. :coleman:

OT: Pretty good defense by Lin on CP3. Asik should've come to help faster since it would be Griffin taking a J.

That's what I noticed too. Really good D by Lin there.

Kyrie makes more mistakes, but he's younger so you'd expect that. Cp3 handles the ball more than almost anybody, and rarely turns it over.

I always thought CP3 was the best ball-handler in the league. He's always under control. CP3 can bust out quick moves when he has to but he knows when to use certain dribble moves and when to keep it simple. I'm not sure if Kyrie has mastered that yet. For that reason, I'll go with CP3 with Kyrie a close 2nd.

Kyrie has better pure handles, but CP3 has better overall ball control.

Then give me Crawford over everyone without second thought.

cp3 = more ball safety
irving = flashier
that s due to age and general playstyle.cp3 is the best ballhandler in the nba.might not be the flashiest or the fastest but when the guy has glue in his hands.plus he s strong as a rock.you can t move him unlike irving
