I have had lots of MP3 players in my life and the first thing to always mess up is the headphone jack. It always gets to a point where I have to hold it a certain way and if it moves a little the headphone jack stops working. Does anyone know any MP3 players with strong headphone jacks that don't break?

ipod classic dude. tons of space and i know you listen to a lot of different music. i lost my 160gb but i've still got a 6 or 7 year old 80gb one that works like a charm. so that's where i'd go.... then i have a different problem where my headphones are always breaking. so i buy at this place down the road that for $5 will give me two replacement pairs should anything happen. pretty solid deal.

but yeah. ipod classic. or hell just use ur cell phone i dunno :lol

Will work with any MP3 player and the aux port won't wear off over time. If it breaks, you just need to replace a cheap ass cable.

I mostly use a sony walkman. I have had it for ~5 years and never any issues with it. I have dropped it, slammed it in a door, etc. Its only about 8 gb, but I rotate my music through it. Now, headphones I **** up all the time.

Just get a beater. Sansa Clip + or Clip Zip are cheap ($20) and if you break it, not a big deal because you have a couple others lying around. That being said, I have about 2-3 and none of them have broke. The sound did get messed up on 1 from 8 years back. If you keep breaking things, do NOT use your expensive iphones for music... especially listening while being in the gym. It ain't worth it.
