Can't stand the guy and will always take LBJ in the eternal argument, but I am glad Kobe is back healthy and playing this season. League is more interesting, exciting, and compelling with Kobe. He's an all-timer and legend, and the league will lose something significant when he hangs em up.

I hope he's healthy all year and plays well. That is all.

Now I need to take a shower. :coleman:

I despise Kobe but I feel the same way. Never like seeing a great player out of the game.

That would be pretty awesome to see. Also, lead them to a 3-5 seed in the West and make it to the Conference Finals. Would be overachieving as hell, but fans wouldn't complain.

I'm looking forward to his return as well, but for much different reasons. I can't wait to witness Kenneth Griffin's multiple breakdowns as Kobe struggles to average 18 ppg!

Guy is 36 and coming off 2 major injuries. It could EASILY happen. He looked terrible last season, and at that point he was only coming back from one injury. :confusedshrug:

Out of the 6 games he played he had 20+ on 50% in 3 of those games.

You are an un informed idiot who should not be posting on this subject.

I use to hate Kobe hard for a long time but as time went on and the longer his career went the more and more respect I had for him to the point where I actually want to see the guy play and watch some form of greatest (he's past his peak) before it completely goes away.

Hopefully he's fully health and stay healthy for the year.

You know what? I sometimes I feel same way with certain athletes. I hate that particular athlete growing up and root against them but over time I gain whole new respect and admiration for their careers when they get past their peak/prime. You have to respect greatness when you see it even if you hate them once upon a time.

Kobe is in the top echelon of players to ever play this game, and one of the hardest working, most dedicated athletes to ever live. You have to respect that

It would be great if it's prime raper Kobe, this Kobe is just a shadow of his former self.

Either you didn't really watch him in those 6 games or you just don't understand professional sports. He looked horrible the first few games, no one will argue that; however, he was coming back somewhat early from one of the most devastating injuries a professional athlete can have.

No training camp, no exhibition games, nothing. He practiced a few times and went out and played in regular season games.

By that 6th game, the one where he fractured his knee, he was starting to look pretty ****ing good. He hit the go ahead 3 on a fractured knee.

We never really got to see Kobe after the achilles. We saw Kobe attempting to come back, but he never fully shook off the rust.

I think he'll be just fine.
