"For this season, right now, we have what we have," Anthony said when asked if he feels he has the help he is looking for. "We're going to deal with that."

"I didn't want to have to do it night in and night out," Anthony said. "I wanted some nights when somebody else can pick up the load. Right now, with the way we're playing [in training camp], I don't have to do everything. But we haven't played one game. ... So we'll see what happens."

"I think it'll be easier. It's still going to be a dogfight [this season], but I think it'll be a little bit easier where everybody is not keying in and focusing on me every single time down the court. Now you put the pressure on everybody else, have to guard their man and there's movement. It's a good thing."

There's always going to be immense pressure when playing for a NY team.

Yeah right. At least with Chicago, Melo would have had some help. Jeez. Melo is giving the folks in New York 110% effort and the front office ain't even trying to help the brother out.

As a Knick fan, I'm very disappointed from that statement. Yes, he played 110% last season, but that led me to believe he was doing that to get that big paycheck. Melo is being paid as a franchise player, I hope he's going to do more than just score.

Melo will never be winner or a champion. He lacks that hero's courage.

It's Melo, that's all he does.

If he slides into a Dirk role and let's the game come to him he'd be so flipping effective.

He's a weapon pure and simple. You can't stop him for getting a shot when you're late in the clock or late in the game. He abuses favorable matchups in the post. His 3ball is elite now. It's just getting a serious offensive system in place, and a championship caliber D.
