A source inside the Bucks said that Parker already has dropped 11 pounds since this Summer League and is in the best shape of his life (before the draft, conditioning was one of the major concerns about Parker). He's more explosive than we've seen him the last few years. The same source said that Parker has been absolutely dominant in informal scrimmages the Bucks have staged this summer in Milwaukee. He's wowing people there.

ROTY and it won't even be remotely close imo. He's just a flat out better basketball player than anyone in his draft except a 100% healthy Embiid. Getting in shape just increases the gap.

Parker was a student first, athlete second. He goes to class, he does school work. this has happened in both high school and college.

Parker has never been one of those guys whose only goal in life is to play basketball. He is also a devout Mormon and was contemplating doing his Mormon mission before the draft.

He should probably be gaining weight, in terms of muscle.
Old guys should lose weight - it's from years of bad habits of eating.
Young guys need more muscle on the bones.
