I don't have unlimited data on my phone sadly, so that isn't an option. What is a decently priced good GPS that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

I usually only drive around my small town but when I go to Huntsville at times I don't know where stuff is.

Our little Jameer is all grown up.

Wait until Black Friday if you can. I worked at retail a couple of years ago and remember the price slashes they had on GPS units. You can get a decent one for around 80 bucks.

you have an android phone?

just pre-download the maps in google maps on wifi. type in 'ok maps' in the search bar and you can download offline maps (you choose what you want to download)
so that you arent downloading maps on the go
:o
likely buying a moto g so this is definitely helpful. does it work like i'm usign it on a data plan when i download it?

you can download maps on data, but i suppose that defeats the purpose because thats what you are trying to avoid?

when you have maps already downloaded on your phone, your phone will use gps only when navigating.
sorry i said it bad. i meant as in does it say like "turn here" and show where i am on the map and all that jazz.

I rarely use gps, been driving since I was 16-17 and know my way around, but when using it I don't feel like it takes a lot of data, barley anything.

why not just check on google maps before you go out

ahh the young mind, cant memorize and preload directions into the brain :p

my seasoned veteran strong mind can memorize up to 100 turns and street names before going out

wow so strong

My car got 300 Jaypower, very strong car.
