His talent is off the charts.
I think he has more talent and athleticism than Oden had coming out of high school.
He is a future alltime great if he stays healthy.

Embiid misses those days at Kentucky. He says it was a blur, almost like it never even happened.
pls stay healthy, we already got robbed of a quality big man in Oden.

Embiid looks like he was playing a HOF center from the 60s.

These clips are crazy to me sometimes. I spend my whole life just trying to maintain the ability to throw down normal dunks on fast breaks, and then there's guys like this who can walk down the paint for fun and casually windmill over someone. It's almost depressing.

Best bigman prospect since Shaq. I stand by that.
What would have been really interesting is if Embiid hadn't gotten injured during preparation for the draft, would the Cavs have dealt him in the Love deal. I honestly do not think so. He looked that spectacular... the kind of pick you don't trade under any circumstances.

How did KU lose 10 games with two can't miss NBA prospects, then lose in their tourney, then lose in the first round of the NCAA?
Yeah, they were freshmen. So was AD's Kentucky team.

I still have no idea how they didn't play that well. They have a damn good coach too.
It makes no sense.

It was Embiid and a bunch of scrubs.
Kentucky was still a good team without AD. Kansas would not even qualify for the tournament without Embiid.

Holy shit
Btw I love how Embiid handles himself...
Not just from this Video, although it's cool how he plays with some kids..
Btw, really, "small white kid" ?
Why not "shows off ferocious dunk / athleticism" ?

I feel for the kid - it was like his self esteem jumped out of his body and he went looking for it. But he was guarding a great, he could have been Mutombo and it still would have happened.

Also it's college basketball. One game and you're out. Experience very often can trump superior, inexperienced talent, and Bill Self teams always either go very deep or lose very early.
People saying it was only Wiggins and Embiid is ridiculous, btw. There's a reason why they are contenders again this year when they bring in a wing (Oubre) not as good as Wiggins and a big (Alexander) not as good as Embiid. Perry Ellis is definitely an NBA player. Selden, too. They both had good seasons last year.

Is he not small and white? I would have said "small black kid" if he was black. Or "small Indonesian kid" if that were to apply.

Not that small... Color is totally irrelevant (Not accusing you of racism, just saying)... and BOTH has absolutely nothing to do with the dunk.

Lol. all-time great? He hasn't played a second in the league.
The way he just jumped and put it up with such ease like as if it were a normal person hopping over a puddle makes this dunk so nasty lol.
