Randle my pick for ROY. Hopefully he wins it. I was a huge fan of his game at Kentucky, and was the only player I liked on that team. :pimp:

Randle's underrated as hell, he's gonna be there at the top of the rookie ladder...but I think Jabari's gonna have the green light in Milwaukee..whether it's better or worse for the team, he should put up big rookie numbers. But yeah I'd be down for a bet.

Hope Boozer doesn't steal his minutes. Boozer looked like shit today.
Though Randle still makes rookie mistakes I rather roll with him that can develop instead of Boozer.
Hill should start at center. Monster rebounder.

Randle should get minutes on this crappy lakers team. But he's not going to be that good. He won't be able to push around players like he did in college. He will struggle. But with minutes he will get chances to develop and have some good games here and there. I don't give preseason any merit. Plus he was playing against guys trying to make the team and it's preseason so the Nuggets weren't really trying..the regular players at least.

Have you been reading this thread? :confusedshrug: He's already being underrated. Regardless there's people around here that think Dougie Mcbuckets will be better. Randle is the only lottery draft pick who helped lead his Team to the national game, as a freshman. Yet he's the most overlooked.

Already shattering that tweener label dunking on 7fters.

As much as I hate to say it, Lakers look like they picked up not one but two pretty good rookies.

Jordan Clarkson looks like he could be a player too.

Randle is small but he is quick and confident which can overcome that.

The Lakers are gonna have a shit season, but for the first time in years I'm excited to see how their young talent is going to develop. It's more interesting than trying to grab a star and then bitching when they don't produce.

Not salty. Last nights game didn't bother me. Not even a little. Did you see who we played, particularly in the 4th?

Like i said, ish does this every year. Not just laker fans

One preseason game and people freak out (good or bad) and it's funny to read.

I wouldn't be worried about the 4th quarter.. the fact they came out in the first and looked unprepared would worry me more.
What's Shaw's plan? his second year, basically a returning squad with a full season under the same coach and they looked more like the team that's only been playing together for a week than the Lakers did who have literally only been playing together for a week

If anything Ive noticed that Laker fans are tempering expectations.. which really is the best perspective at this moment. Even if they start the season strong, the team has too old and too young players to promise any sort of consistency.

People are just salty that the Lakers are enjoying this new squad as opposed to the ones in these previous seasons.. Even if Boozer is the new Kaman..

Laker fans are optimistic about their picks, and people are shitting on them because it's the Lakers. The Lakers have the only fanbase on ISH that isn't "allowed" to like their team. :lol

i dunno what it is, same with the lebron stans. its just too much and too many. like the game thread, i went trough it and it was only a massive lakers jizzfest.

not saying theres anything wrong with that. its not your fault no one roots for the nuggets

but i can see how people get annoyed especially when you're all so quick going into defensive mode. One nuggets fan comes in and points out its just pre-season and suddenly he's the devil

What? Laker haters are just quick to bash the new Lakers roster before they even play a regular season game...Laker fans are just excited about the new team that features a lot of new names & young guys with potential and are hoping for the best in the upcoming season, just like every other team fan should.

Then come in the Kobe/Laker haters and bash every other guy on this roster, how they not gonna pan out and shit. Then they say Kobe is done and he can't stay healthy anymore and shit. Of course we go "defensive".

You must have missed the dozen posts where we called Nash old as dirt and Boozer shittier than shit. Plus those calling for Sacre to get the hell of the court.

Not to mention those calling Clarkson a chucker. I not being one of them.

It wasnt all a jizzfest but once again because it can be ridiculed, everyone seems to solely focus on that.

He plays face up better than Hill and looks a lot more fluid. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a huge role on the team. Got that Lin connection too.

According to comments Byron Scott has made the plan at C is Hill to start and Davis would be coming off the bench. Although hes also said that things can change depending on preseason play.. but that was more relating to the whole roster.
