Faried has to be up there for most overrated young player, right?

I mean does he possess any real basketball ability besides having great hustle? He isn't a great rebounder, scorer, shot blocker, or defender. He could develop into a quality player but right now I'm not seeing how wise it is to try and build a team having him as one of the centerpieces.

He is a little overrated after the FIBA tournament, but it will only help bolster the rest of his game and confidence. He'll be 25 soon and has the room to improve. He definitely needs to keep improving his jump shot, that's going to help has his athleticism declines.

I think he can definitely be a great rebounder, if he isn't already one.

Not even close to negative trade value. Fact is he is a big positive in trade value right now. You could take him and get rid of McGee.

I agree. He gets love and credit mainly due to his toughness and hustle. Yes, those attributes gets you a very long way in the NBA, but he just have to be better in a few more important areas. He have to work on his shot, become a beast in the paint scoring wise and he will be a star in no time.

He is much better in international/FIBA play than NBA, I'll tell you that much.
