I saw a live police pursuit on the news a few days ago in SoCal. The police tried boxing the guy in, but failed miserably. The guy crashed into an innocent driver's vehicle and took off.
I'm curious about who covers the innocent guy's vehicle repairs.
Does anyone here have any info? I tried searching for it on Google, but I couldn't find relevant info; I only found articles stating why cops shouldn't pursue criminals as hard if helicopters are present.
If the victim of the crash doesn't have anything more than, say, liability insurance, is anyone covering the repairs? I know insurance companies find whatever reason they can use to not cover repairs, so...
:confusedshrug:
Please answer.
