He has Marfan syndrome. It's a miracle he's even playing in the NBA right now, asking anything more of him is just unfair.

I think he signed with the Pistons, but not guaranteed. Pistons are already heavy in the frontcourt so it seems he's got a lot of guy ta beat if he wants to make the squad.

that true? can't find any references to it on google other than this thread.

To be fair he was second on all the mocks I remember and people were comparing him to Mutumbo.

He didn't play for OKC until later in his career? Don't post unless you understand the topic please.

Re reading some of his scouting reports and a lot of it is "new to the game, looks amazing, runs incredibly well, blocks shots (at college level), has shown he may develop post moves, has shown signs of developing a jump shot". Most of it is based off assumptions he would learn more skills which never happened.

He didn't start playing basketball until he was 15 or 16, similar to Olajuwon and Duncan, so scouts and recruiters were banking on Hasheem to have a similar transition. Not even close!

He's going to work with Embiid during his rehab.

I remember that game. Blair straight dominated him that entire game. That should've been a huge red flag to scouts.

Blair had 23 rebounds in that game and was scoring on Hasheem the Dream like he wasn't even there.
