Inspired by the Suns, who made this slideshow
http://www.nba.com/suns/gallery/suns-could-feature-some-most-unique-lineups-nba-history

Not necessarily the best lineups, perhaps not even sensible lineups; just anything you think would be interesting for your team to put on the floor.

Suns:
Obviously the 3 PGs together. I like the Isaiah/Bledsoe/Dragic/Green/Plumlee lineup stated in the link, but we could go even smaller with Tucker/Markieff in the post. Both are capable defenders/rebounders who play bigger than their size.

OKC:
I wanna see them go tall, long and athletic with Westbrook/PJ3/KD/Ibaka/Adams, I think they can be a really effective lineup. Will probably see alot of Reggie/Westbrook/Morrow/KD/Ibaka next season, which should be fun to watch go up and down too.

Wolves: Rubio/Lavine/Wiggins/Young/Dieng
Nuggets: Lawson/Harris/Gallinari/Chandler/Faried

What are some of yours?

Knight
Middleton
Giannis
Jabari
Sanders

Young, athletic, balanced lineup. Got two playmakers in Knight/Giannis, pure scorer and go-to clutch player in Jabari, great shooter in Middleton, shot blocker and defensive anchor in Sanders.

Giannis/Jabari/Sanders need no explanation, they're the players with the highest ceilings on the roster, along with Henson who should be the 6th man. They need to be on the court

Knight was disappointing last year as a point guard, but he can still be a solid player. He got jacked in the offseason and apparently worked intensely on his ball handling and passing..last night against the Grizzlies he showed some pretty nice PG play, although he turned the ball over a bit.

Middleton is pretty much an unknown to casual fans and even most of the more invested fans...but the dude can ball. He's like a poor man's Klay Thompson right now..great shooter, great off the ball, high IQ, great frame and athleticism. He's developing into a very nice player..had like 17 points yesterday night against Memphis and pretty much took over the game along with Jabari/Giannis in the 4th quarter.

You could throw in harkless for Harris or dedmon for vuc too. As long as I don't have to see Ben Gordon chucking Luke ****ing ridnour sucking or Nicholson being a slow scrub

Needs more shooting though

I'd probably like

Payton
Oladipo
Harris/Harkless
Frye
Vucevic

I know it's only been one pre season game but I'm really hoping Harris has fixed his jump shot up a bit. We really need him to step up this year and be able to knock down 3s more consistently. If he can do that it changes the line ups we can run a big deal having another guy who can play the 3/4 who can actually shoot.

I'm pretty sure most lineups posted here will be of their team's young players.

PG: Rondo
SG: Smart
SF: Turner
PF: Sullinger
C: Olynyk

I really want to see this lineup when Rondo is back. Young, exciting front-court, great back-court defensively and offensively and featuring our top draft pick this year, and then Turner at the 3, imo the guy who has the most to prove this season. He'll either be the 17 PPG top scorer, or the 7 PPG bust.

Another lineup I'd love to see is very similar to the one posted, but with James Young at the 3 instead of Turner. Young has done pretty well so far this preseason, and I'd love to see what he can do offensively as a starter. I think he'll be a pretty good player in the NBA.

I'm a Suns fan and I really don't want them to go small like that.

My lineup:

Bledsoe/Thomas/Ennis
Dragic/Dragic/Goodwin
Green/Tucker/Warren
Morris twins/Tolliver
Plumlee/Len

If stuff goes left then we hit them with this:

Thomas
Bledsoe
Dragic
Green/Tucker/Morris
Plumlee/Morris

I'm actually looking forward to the Bulls running their second unit out there.

PG: Hinrich/Brooks
SG: Snell
SF: McDermott
PF: Mirotic
C: Gibson

That's some nice shooting to surround Gibson's post game. I think they're going to give teams fits.

What OKC should have been running all last year's playoffs...

Jackson

Nicholson being a slow scrub
I remember this guy had a lot of buzz about him after summer league as a rook. Continuing into his rookie season.

Now ORL has the polar opposite in gordon who carries the potential bust label.

Not that this has anything to do with the thread... so i'll make my contribution

Hill
Randle
Wes
Kobe
Nash

I really want a better memory of Nash as a Laker than what I have so far.

Oh yes I forgot about the young Bucks. Middleton is massively underrated, and so is Knight.

Also excited to see Nash/Lin/Swaggy/Randle/Hill provided Nash can still lead a fastbreaking unit.
