They have lots of displaced anger. Especially the ones 30-32 and below.

They didn't have hair on their nuts last time niners won Super Bowl , and they are PISSED Cus they still ain't enjoyed a Super Bowl victory.

I mean they've heard about Montana , rice, young, Lott, but most of these idiot fans were in underroos last time they won.

I'm sure that would be agitating as fucc to always HEAR about championships, come close so many times, but NEVER enjoy a SUPERBOWL win.

They just mad. They don't KNOW what it feels like to enjoy winning a SUPERBOWL. Stuck on the past. A past they have no idea about. Smh.

Fighting at NFL games is becoming an issue at most stadiums, actually it has been an issue for years now...this one made headlines because it was filmed and the person who was attacked is partially paralyzed but random drunken fights can probably be found at the majority of NFL games.

It's a shame too because I would like to take my son to NFL games but the scene has become such drunken testosterone filled douche fest that I will probably just take him to NBA games instead.

Removing alcohol from games would go a very long way with this issue but there is way too much money involved for the NFL to do that...Budweiser is a major sponsor. A beer at games is like $8 and they still sell like it is dollar beer night.

Do NFL stadiums stop selling beer after a certain point in the game? Might help a bit if they stopped selling sometime in the 3rd quarter. I know they stop selling beer after the 7th inning stretch or something at Pirates games.

It would also be a good policy to not allow people into the stadium who clearly drank too much during the tailgate. It's to the point now that NFL stadiums basically need the equivalent of a bouncer the the gate.

I'm not sure if they do or not but there is a cut off point at Ranger games here too...if that isn't employed already in NFL games then it should be.

And yeah, NFL should spend more money on security...after NFL games it is basically a huge mix of drunken males walking back to their cars, being loud and talking shit. It is a perfect recipe for brawls, police should be everywhere for that.

It's because NFL takes place once a week, Sunday...people feel the need to get hammered. Unlike other sports that happen whenever on week nights, drinking isn't really attached to those sports like it is football.

Other sports just aren't linked to beer guzzling like football is. No other sports have a tailgating scene were fans get hammered 3 hours before the game.

Dude's were fvkin pricks before the booze
IMO the reason this is a bigger problem at NFL games is the booz consumption...not a cheap cop out at all sorry

Reasonable people get hammered and are a delight
you can stop with the stupid notion that alcohol doesn't effect the way people act already, it's illegal to get hammered in public for a reason. Guns aren't allowed in bars for a reason, etc

I've never met a drunk while sober and thought "oh what a delight that drunk man was!" Most people are annoying when they are hammered and only tolerated by other drunks.

You can raise the prices of beer and it won't matter because people drink during the tailgate party. I have gone to a bunch of 49er games and we get along and drink with others. Pass around food and pass around beers.

Unfortunately, I doubt this was some guy politely telling another about an open stall because you can see they were all waiting in line. It must have started outside the bathroom.

Not being able to buy a beer in the 4th quarter...OH THE HUMANITY!

It's a good policy for public safety too. Let people sober up at the end of games instead of selling beer to a bunch of drunks who are about to walk out to a parking lot filled with thousands of cars. I'd be interested to see DUI stats right after NFL games.

Warriors games stop serving alcohol in the 4th.

ALCOHOL
Beverages and/or food of any kind may not be brought into Oracle Arena. Alcoholic beverages are available at concession stands, beverage carts and clubs throughout Oracle Arena. A valid government issued photo ID is required to purchase alcohol.

Alcoholic beverages will not be sold after the end of the 3rd quarter. Alcohol sales may continue in suites, bunker suites, restaurants and clubs. At no time after the beginning of the 4th quarter will alcohol be permitted in the bowl area.

Don't see why it would be a problem to do the same at NFL games.

It looks like most NFL stadiums do cut off at the start of the 4th Q...found this too:

The Green Bay Packers are expecting an extra, um, lively crowd for Saturday's night wild-card game against the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings. So much so that alcohol sales at Lambeau Field will be cut off at the beginning of the third quarter. The normal cut-off time is the beginning of the fourth quarter.

The Packers announced the change Thursday.

"Night games previously have presented us with more challenges than normal with regard to inappropriate behavior," Lambeau security chief Doug Collins said in a statement, via the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "We are asking fans to enjoy the game responsibly and also help us out by reporting poor conduct to stadium and law enforcement personnel, either in person, or by text at the number posted in the stadium."

If you cant drink in the stadium they will drink heavy liquor before the game so youre even drunker. 2 hours of not drinking wont make you sober and the light beer inside the stadium has close to none alcohol anyway.

I dont know the english term but "Vortrinken" is the same thing, people meet before the they go to a club at someones place and drink a few beers and liquor so they wont have to buy so many expensive drinks in the club.

you really don't have any idea what you're talking about do you know how much beer gets sold at games?...you think that restricting beer sales will INCREASE drinking for everyone?...liquor even?

I don't see any liquor at NFL games, I see Bud Light...and YES you can get drunk on light beer, that's what it was designed for, mass consumption.

not everybody is drinking bud light at these nfl games anyway. at century link they serve 30+ different types of beer, including some craft beers with very high alcohol content.

you really don't have any idea what you're talking about do you know how much beer gets sold at games?...you think that restricting beer sales will INCREASE drinking for everyone?...liquor even?

How many people cause problems? 0,05%?

This 0,05% will still cause problems even if you ban beer.

...you think that restricting beer sales will INCREASE drinking for everyone?.

I never said that :biggums: of course you will decrease drinking, but drinking per se is not the problem.

Based on your logic we should ban alcohol in general.

I agree with that but probably harder to enforce than you think...your water bottle could be vodka.

so...just buy some water for $20 a bottle inside :D

Yeah...it can be done though. Did it all the time at college football games. Easy to sneak booze in as well. lol

Flask of whiskey/rum. Buy coke at concession stands. Win.

Drinking IS the problem at NFL games in comparison to other sporting events...and really the NFL doesn't even deny that, they have said they are going to take measures against it for years now. They just never do cause $$$$

and IMO EVERY drunk is a "problem"...not just .05% of them...most drunks make the game less enjoyable for those around them.

NFL games have metal detectors/pat downs...probably harder than a college game

You haven't said a damn thing that makes any sense.

Killing beer at half time or banning it all together will go a long way to making the stadium a more enjoyable and safer atmosphere.

That's a fact.

:facepalm the idiots on here bringing up beer.

How do we know alcohol was related? ...but but he was going to the bathroom though.

Banning alcohol is a moot point. Not even worth discussing about since we don't know if it was the cause of the fight. You self-righteous non-drinkers are debating something that is not relevant just so you can feel good about yourselves or trying to say it is dangerous to go to a football game. When in fact, I doubt any of you have ever been to football games. I've been to plenty and it is not as bad as you portray it to be.

Anytime there is that many people in one environment with rooting interests, there is going to be some drama, "same team" fans too.

Straw man-ing.

People don't get in paralyzing fist fights over sports when they're sober.

You do know that 49ers fan in Cali, especially the Bay Area, are the mostly wealthy and educated. I need to find the data but a majority of us are educated, such as myself who hold multiple degrees.

That's not what he said at all. You're just using the slippery slope fallacy. Lol @ alcohol not exacerbating these kinds of issues. It's common practice to stop selling alcohol in the 4th quarter of bball/football games and even in late innings in baseball. These stadiums are selling alcohol to make money so why the **** would they stop selling alcohol in the 4th if not to avoid people drunk driving and fighting after the games. Your arguments have been consistently terrible throughout this entire topic

If it were up to me I would have them both hung at half time of the next 49ers home game...on the 50 yard line, in front of everyone

Let the crowd know that BS won't be tolerated.

Old school methods FTW

49er fans are such pieces of shit. It's only a matter of time before American's realize that the NFL only care's about their bottom line and nothing else. The NFL is a ****ing joke and people need to realize that they don't give two shits about the players or the fans. Only how much money is going into the owners pockets. **** the NFL and every team in it.

Uhhh it's well known already and sounds like you described every business ever man. Granted the NFL should lose its nonprofit status but other than that, how is what you wrote different than ANY business?

The front office is a non-profit and the teams get the public to finance most of the businesses capital costs. Pretty retarded for a multi billion dollar industry but it's def a sweet deal for the owners.

its some of the responses in threads like this that make me seriously question why I still post in this forum.

Some of you are first rate idiots, and you must be insufferable in person for a whole host of reasons, first and foremost or which, your stupidity.

Those brothers are f*cking animals, lock them up and throw away the key, and this idea now that everyone needs to be hard is pathetic. Society is going right down the shitter.
