Another classic by Bird in his absolute prime (85/86 regular season). Bird killed the Sixers with 36 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists on 16/25 FG (3/4 FG).

''He's the three-point king, he's the king, period," said teammate Bill Walton. "And, no, I haven't seen it all before. Every time up the floor is different. That's the way basketball is. Every time is a whole new deal."

"You can see it (Bird's excellence) coming," said Celtics guard Jerry Sichting. "It's like when Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar) gets mad, you know you're going to get dunked on."

Celtics won the game 118:101.

Larry Bird showing off his full repertoire of moves in these highlights. Some players don't have this many highlights in their career, let alone in one game.

From a basketball purist's point of view, it doesn't get any better than Larry Bird.
