Bill Burr gets asked about females being funny (something that has made life difficult and gotten a few other comedians in a bind who have answered this question sincerely) and throws it right back at her in a great manner.

Female comedians tend to suck, but I notice a recent trend of more and more funny ones coming about.
That fat girl who was the head drugdealer in 22 Jumpstreet for example was genuinely funny, it is still a minority but more and more funny female comedians are emerging through the cracks. Ones that don't have to make period jokes all the time.

Yeah, but that's just film or television. Plenty of girls can and are funny in those circumstances because they're not really writing that shit. Can you recommend some funny standups?

I dont know any girls that are funny in real in a witty way.
I know girls that are funny but more in a sort of "laugh at that clown, what the phuck is wrong with her" way.
I dont know any good female stand up comedians.
I dont think Tina Fey is funny at all and though Bridesmaids was lame as hell but I know a ton of people like both those things.
Roseanne is really funny, so is Ellen Degeneres, I think so atleast.
That chick in 22 Jumpstreet though, I was under the impression she was a standup comedian, maybe she was only funny because the role she played, but Ill check it out and get back to you. First time I laughed so hard at a girl comedic actor in a long long time.

She's in Workaholics but plays it different on that show. She occasionally has outbursts or is sarcastic but nothing like in 22 Jump Street.
I think Ellen is corny.

I thought Ellen was really good in Finding Nemo, her show is corny but I've seen stuff where she's funny and her personality and delivery is funny.

repped for bill burr
I knew two girls who were really funny in high school. The first one was witty and sharp, like she could flip your words around on you QUICK. But it was done in a funny way. Really smart person.
The other was less witty, but more like into skits. She would go into characters suddenly. Like you would do something cool in gym, and she would come up to you and start interviewing you with this oldschool reporter voice. That stuff used to kill me.
