View Full Version : Time for the Heat to panic?

JT123

0-3 in the pre season now. Their starters looked like shit and got blown off the floor despite Lebron shooting like crap and Kyrie not playing. And please don't respond with the "it's just pre season" line. The Heat are attempting to develop an entirely different offensive identity, and based on the minutes their starters played this game mattered to them. The third stringers brining the Heat back and forcing overtime doesn't change the fact that the team looked awful today.

Wasn't there like a week when JT was a good poster when he first activated his account?

Heat would be one of the teams taking it extremely easy in preseason after playing 4 straight finals.

Unless it's meaningful games, no need to read into it.

My guess is the starters only played a lot because it was in Brasil and the NBA most likely asked the teams to play there stars more then they usually would in a preseason game

Are you saying you think the Heat starters played well? :biggums:
Name one thing I said that is factually incorrect.

Post Lebron James Preseason numbers while you're at it....

If this were the regular season, you would have a point.

Wade nor Bosh got substantial minutes in the second half today. It was basically bench vs bench throughout.

Of course, you already knew this, and just want to incite Heat fans. :oldlol:

They got worked by the Cavs with lebron playing like ass and no Kyrie. Bosh about to get them increased stats but the L's that come with him being your leader:oldlol:

Very true brother. Bosh's stats don't lead to wins, which is why the Heat didn't run plays for him.

It's just the pre-season.

However, Miami should have been in panic mode as soon as LeBron wrote that I'm coming home letter.

Bron carried the Miami Cavaliers as far as he could. Wade's knees are pretty much breakfast toast. Queen Bosh is getting what he wants. Empty stats topped off with a pile of Ls. Yes, Chalmers is still Chalmers.

Spo is still a puppet coach.

Heat are done. Not like the fans will care either way. They barely show up to the games.

HA! You only thought that because at the time he was stanning for a player on your team. He's been shit from the get go.

It's freaking preseason, dude.

Blazers are 0-2
Jazz are 2-0
Grizzlies are 0-2
Mavs are 0-2
Clippers are 0-1

None of these wins/losses really matter. Preseason is just for warming up and the coaches use this time to experiment with different lineups and see how well the guys on the team play. If you honestly think the Heat should panic after 3 preseason games then someone needs to talk to you about how the NBA works.

Pre season is used to get your team comfortable playing at nba level and to experiment with diffrrent plays and line ups. While taking it easy to prevent any injuries because the wins and losses dont matter. Why does this have to be explained :facepalm

Bosh and Wade had good stats individually. The Heat need to keep working on their chemistry and trying to improve. RIght now it's not a cohesive unit.

Stop trying to deny it, the Heat are going to stink this year... 8 seed at best. I will bet my left foot that the Knicks have a better record at the end of the year.

Look, its possible but no one is going to "panic". The Heat will give it a go and if by midseason its not working some moves will be made. The roster and scheme need to be evaluated. Ennis is a young spark that can give the vets an edge. Let's see.

Heat should fold for the season. Time to scrap the franchise actually. Seattle should be their new home and they should be renamed the Sonics. Heat are historically insignificant, and their fanbase is an utter joke. Who mad?

Fck Miami and all their fans. UM is supposed to be the most popular teams in the city, and this is all they could get for today's game to show up:

This is for one of the ultimate elite programs in the country. Miami doesn't deserve to have any sports team at all, tbh. Nothing but a bunch of bandwagon fans.

I guess but..... one example doesnt make pre season games 100% proof of what is yet to come. besides its the eastern conference. land of opportunity!!!
