The season is too long. Throw in international duties, and other obligations and you can start to see injuries pile up.

Normally it's just the minor injuries that take a toll over the course of the season but there has been a recent run of bad luck with major players getting mild-severe injuries.

I really believe Silver is going to take a hard look at season length, maybe as soon as the next CBA talks. Idk if that's how it works, but why not just float the concept while everyone is already together?
