What u got

Westbrook played only 41 minutes without Durant last season: http://on.nba.com/1vVygfm Attempted 35 (!) shots in those 41 minutes.

Under. Westbrook is gonna share the ball a lot more than people think. Guys like Ibaka, Lamb, and Jackson will really get the chance to shine now that their ball dominant small forward won't be dribbling out the shot clock and passing them the ball at the last second. Look for Ibaka to be a 20/10 player while Durant is out.

Ok, I'm convinced. You have to be a parody account trying to make Bron stans look bad

35 is an unrealistic number...Kobe's highest season is 27 and Iverson at 28.
Over/under 27 should be more like it and I pick under.

Over/under on how many games it takes for Westbrook to take over the league?

I got 12.

If Westbrook averages anywhere near that he'd be under 40% shooting and the Thunder will lose a lot of games. I think he'll find the going a bit tougher being the focal point of the defense.

you should also take into account team pace, per 100 possesions:
kobe has 35.1 fga per 100 possessions in 2005-2006
iverson 34.4 fga per 100 possesions in 2001-2002

westbrook last year was at 28 fga per 100 possesions

some other people maxes:
jordan 35 fga per 100 in 1985-1986
lebron 29 fga per 100 in 2005-2006
bird 27.6 per 100 in 1987-1988
magic 21.3 fga per 100 in 186-1987
durant 27.2 fga per 100 last year
stackhouse 30.4 per 100 in 2000-2001 :lol
shaq 27.8 per 100 in 1995-1996
melo 32.1 per 100 in 2012-2013
wade 30.5 per 100 in 2008-2009
wilt 51.2 per 100 in 1961-1962 :wtf:
nique 33.1 per 100 in 1988-1989
gervin 33 per 100 in 1981-1982

so it's not that impossible imo, the 2005-06 lakers were a 90 possession team and last year's thunder is at 96, which will very probably increase in the first month of the season. Just improbable. I can definetly see 28-30 fga.

I don't see him putting up that much because he still likes to set up his teammates. He knows by now it will help take pressure off him. I'm not sure if even half of his assists were to Durant, mostly to Ibaka + other 3 point shooters. Durant was too good, he could create on his own. The only way I see him putting up that much is if no one else is making shots or the open guys are afraid to shoot (no sefoloshit anymore thank the heavens).

I know he has come a long way since putting up 30 shots in playoff games a few years back. His decision making has improved, and it still needs work :oldlol: It's time he take that next step. In Goatbrook, I believe :pimp:

Under.

OKC will play much like they did when Russ went out and KD had to carry them. Russ will take around 20-30 shots per game, but I don't think he'll have many 35+ shot games this season. I think OKC will win around the same pace they won at when Russ was out last year, since Russ & KD have similar impact on the game, but I expect a fully healthy Russ to play better than he did in the Playoffs last season.

35 is a ridiculous number to shoot for.

More like over/under 25. I say pretty, close, but under. Jackson and Ibaka will definitely be more involved in the offense and Lamb can start to show some of his potential.

I think he'll shoot ~22 per. Jackson, Ibaka, Marrow & others will share the load.

Too small a sample size. Westbrook's 'selfishness' is exaggerated.

Doesn't matter OKC isn't winning the chip with nobody to bail KD out in crunch time.

I'm really excited to see westbrook on his own for an extended period of time. He's gonna have to wisen up quick, and bring even more beastliness. This is what we've been waiting for.
