I will say this if Kobe comes back I think it will be a first as medically as far as that injury goes.. even 5-7 years ago would have been career ending at 30. If he has any major-level impact (what he's use to) a lot of it will be his player-coaching (will see what he's like with that at this point in this career)... I haven't seen him that much but I don't see Kobe as someone who uses the pre-season to get into shape

Possibly. I mean last year before injury he didn't look great either. Not as good as 2002 Jordan @ 39 years old. Even when younger, and healthier Kobe didn't get as much separation on moves as Mike. We'll see how the season turns out.
