Americans are the last people who can criticize others choice in beer. You guys drink sparkling water over there.

P.S Newcastle Brown is dirt cheap. It's still unlikely you'll see that many people drinking it.

EDIT: You didn't seriously just buy that because it had imported on it did you?!?

No. I don't drink this shit but decided tonight I should chill with a 6 pack of it and I don't really like it.

Many people know I work out and have a great body, I will post shirtless pictures in the future, but this beer gets me bloated. Too heavy for my taste as I am a Heineken guy and anything American.

It's a hobo beer. If you want to get a decent imported beer from England go for an Ale like Doombar. You got completely mugged off buying a 6 pack of that shit :lol

Also if you're drinking American beer which I can safely assume is "Light" how are you not getting bloated from that? It's like drinking soda.

P.S The best beers in the world are German/ Bavarian. If you want to get something imported beers from that region are usually a safe bet.

Anyways, I don't need a lesson in beer. I mostly drink local micro-brews and Bud Light.

Newcastle gets me bloated though and I want to point out how overrated it is. I am pretty buzz right now but bloated as hell.

Says the guy who bought a 6 pack of Newcastle brown:roll:

I don't see how it's overrated, everyone knows it's piss water. Who told you it was a good beer?

I'll never understand Americans love for Bud Light. It was the bane of my nights out when I was stateside in March. Up there as one of the worst beers going.

Newcastle beer is tramp beer dawg, one step above White Lightning.

I never had good English beer, even the fancy ones, Dutch, Czechs and Germans make the best beer.

The lies this guy will throw.

I swear, its like that 8 year old in elementary class who claimed he had every gaming system, every toy, watched every show, said his parents were superheroes, blah, blah, blah. I don't know how anyone could take him seriously.

the best beers in the world are belgian. There are tons of great beers from around the world. America has incredible beer diversity. Dont judge it by the american lagers (bud, coors, miller, etc).

True, my favorite area is prob the breweries around the Great Lakes. Great Lakes Brewery and Bell's are probably 2 of my favorites in the whole country. I prefer stuff made in the colder climates because there are more stouts and porters.

samuel smith brewery is english, and their stuff is fabulous.

the brits are pretty dedicated to their beers... i'd be amazed if they weren't several more excellent breweries across the pond.

This may have been true 10 years ago, but the American Craft Beer Revolution is under way. Miller, Budweiser, Coors are reporting a huge decrease in domestic sales over the past 2 years.

Great American craft breweries:

Stone Brewing Company
Three Floyds
Dogfish Head
Lagunitas
Bell's Brewing
Southern Tier
Cigar City Brewing

Support local craft beer, Americans!

England sucks at cooking, and beer.

They are good at eating food and drinking alcohol, but really shit at making it.

I am speaking from years of experience here, dawg.

They make nasty shit ales and beers, and when they cook they make flavourless overcooked watery food, usually with gratuitous baked beans thrown in where they don't belong, and they put ketchup on things that shouldn't have ketchup.

They are good at cider, I like their cider, the one culinary thing that England can do well.

oh ya, i know their food is world-famous for being dreadful, but SS really is the bees knees. cmon tho, there's gotta be at least one other fine brewery, tho...!

but one thing i share with the brits is preferring beer only slightly chilled. so much more flavor that way... assuming it's a half-decent beer.
