Ezra Miller is confirmed as The Flash. He doesn't look like the flash IMO, but his acting chops is amazing.

Meh most of DC doesn't' feel as relevant these days. They have some classic characters but their main stays seem to have slightly altered stories happening to them over and over. They tried a few interesting things with the new 52 and I actually didn't mind things like demon knights, resurrection man at first but they just tinkered off. Sure they have some great arcs but on the whole it's not as likeable for me. Give me marvel any day.

If they added in a bunch of the old vertigo stuff that would be good though.

They need to chill with all of this. Marvel experimented first, and each movie has grown in popularity. Marvel is at a point where they can release something really unknown and not really prevalent like Guardians of the Galaxy and make it a gigantic hit that breaks records.

Winter Soldier is the #4 movie this year, and Guardians is the 7th.

Man of Steel wasn't good enough to warrant a whole franchise being launched.

We'll need to see how well Batman vs. Superman does, and the fact that Iron Man is going to be a main part of Captain America 3 is going to play waaay into Marvel's favor.

But hey, The Nolan Trilogy was amazing, and if DC can get some of that magic into their movies, they'll be fine.

However, if Marvel is able to get back the rights to Spider-Man, then ohhhh shit. That'd be the nail in the coffin.

Imagine it's the end of Avengers 3 or Captain America 3, and Andrew Garfield comes into the picture and smiles or something at the every end. :eek: :bowdown: :bowdown:

Here's a few movies they've put out and their box office numbers kid

1. Dark Knight Trilogy= 2.5 billion
2. Harry Potter saga= 7.7 billion
3. Lord of the Rings/Hobbit= 5 billion ( 6 billion after the final installment)
4. The Matrix Trilogy = 1.7 billion
5. Inception= 800 million (even their stand alone movies make bank!)

Marvel's ENTIRE box office= 7 billion. That's not even enough to beat Harry Potter :no:


WB has a new Matrix Trilogy and Harry Potter spinoff trilogy in the pipeline, Christopher Nolan's Interstellar and future movie rights, Godzilla sequels, and they just set up a slate of DC movies including Batman and Superman stand alone films into 2019 and beyond. This is the golden age for superhero movies. They'll all make money.
