Anyone gonna pick up this phone? It looks great, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to use a phone that big. I'm thinking about going with the Xperia Z3 since it's only a 5.2 inch screen.

It does look like Samsung FINALLY got it right.. and I'm talking 100% right. The build quality on this thing looks and FEELS great. Got to play with one at the AT&T store yesterday. It has a bunch of great stylus features too which could be handy. Here's an endgaget review:

They actually scored it higher than the 6+

The Verge does the best tech reviews, it's also the best tech site. Read their reviews on these phones/videos:

6 Plus - http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/16/6155009/apple-iphone-6-plus-review

Note 4 - http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/15/6974145/samsung-galaxy-note-4-review

Note is really awesome, just don't like the Touchwiz interface and the phone design.

The Touchwiz seems a lot more optimized this time around (unless you just don't like the look).

I was pretty set on buying an Xperia Z3 this time around but I'm not so sure anymore.

depending on reviews, i am retiring my M8 and get the new Nexus 6. That thing is a beast.

TheVerge has been crap for a few years now. Engadget and Anandtech are much better and much less biased

You can always change the Touch wiz look by loading a new launcher like Nova or Apex

Eh looks nice but doesn't seem to be a big upgrade over the 3. The Note Edge looks interesting

i have Note3

this review is extremely superficial aesthetics.

i use a hard duty Otter case over it so even the curvatures don't matter. i thought his critiqueing the bottom port was rather laughable too.

personally i love it. i couldn't go to a small screen phone. i still use my laptop for most internet and typing data stuff but the note 3 is decent enough if i'm taking a shit to browse and kill time for a few minutes :pimp:

people have been asking me if i got the I6 lately since the case makes my Note3 look bigger than it is. its saved the phone quite a bit tho. Also my speaker phone sort of sucks, think i might've damaged it from a drop, i don't know. other issue i have is GPS tracking always loses signal but read its related to AT&T version.

and i hate how the reject list is capped at like 100~ so many sorry telemarketers calling me from all over even tho i'm on the Do not call list. so many assholes~

I swear AT&T and Samsung phones really seem to be a terrible combination. I have a Note 2 on Verizon and it's by far the best phone I've ever had. My BIL has the same phone on AT&T and it's a POS. So much bloatware, can't root easily, just crap altogether.

I don't mind the Touchwiz anymore but I hope it doesn't take up too much space. I hate getting a 16GB phone and 5 gigs is already taken up by the UI and OS.

Any word on how tough the build is? One of the things I love about the Note 2 is the durability. I've dropped it 21 times without a case and it still looks great.

I'd wait for the Nexus 6.
