They came out of nowhere and swept the postseason. Too bad we don't have that level of parity.:(

Parity on that level can't happen because basketball is a sport where one player has a much greater impact. The greatest hitter can be walked. The greatest pitcher can't throw more than twice in a series. You can't walk LeBron James and may have to stop him every single possession down the stretch of a close game.

That's a good point but if you made a thread about KC winning the world series on a mlb forum in april you would get laughed at like if someone made Minnesota Wolves championship cruise thread here. Plus both are a team sport. You can't use the argument both ways "oh he carried the team" if they win and of course "he didn't get enough help" if they lose.

Its because baseball is 99% fair. Both teams get at least 27 chances to score. There is no controlling pace or holding onto the ball like in othr sports.
