Not the best shooting guard in the league, but it looks klay will have a great season. New offense, and extra confidence. Cant wait.

Kerr is using him a lot in his offense. That's great! He is improving his passing skills. Lets say its easy when coach runs amazing play for the players. Kerr is a huge improvement from Jackson already.

Harden and DeRozan if we're counting out players on the decline.

Harden I can understand, but DeRozan? I'm not so sure about that.

DeRozan...? No.
Harden, yes. Assuming people don't have a look at his blindingly terrible defense.

He's actually a pretty limited guard in that if the defense focuses on him they can shut him down. If he goes unchecked then he'll destroy you. Preseason is meaningless.

I have been one of the biggest Monta fans since 06-07. I always thought he is/was criminally underrated.
He couldn't sniff an all-star team the year he averaged 25.5 ppg, 5.3 apg, 4.0 rpg, 2.2 spg on 45%.
However, even I realize now that I was wrong. Klay is not better than Monta....but he is a better piece for the Warriors to contend for a chip. His defense and his ability to run around really change the game that is not easily quantifiable. The way he runs around, uses screens, etc makes the defense work such a ridiculous amount. Honestly, it's probably worth ~10 points a game. It opens up the game and allows an offense (now that Kerr has instituted a real one) to flow beautifully.
On that same note, Harden gets really underrated on here. He just doesn't have a very good coach. He is a beast though. His defense isn't as bad as people make it out to be. If he was on a better disciplined team (e.g., the Dubs) he would be great. At the same time, his ball dominant ways would make Curry much much worse.
For starting a franchise you gotta go:
Harden
Klay
Derozen
Monta
Wade
anybody
Kobe

How is Klay better than Derozan? Enlighten me. Please.
