All the worlds problems can be tracked back to the insecurity, anger, regret, low self esteem, fears and sadness of people. Thats what drives every single negative action in our world, from terrorist bombings to kids egging peoples houses, to women gossiping about their friends, to racists and homophobes campaigning in the streets.
The rest of the stuff is all circumstantial and/or out of the control of the people. For example accidents, or people being born mentally ill and becoming evil doers.

The same root of all good, us. The human race. We all decide what is good and what is evil in this world, even if our decisions might not hold up against one another.

Religion. If both parties believe in a deity, whats the issue? Especially when its the same religion e.g. Protestantism vs Catholicism or Shia vs Sunni.

Do you guys believe that a lot of these issues can never be fixed? For example, religion has historically been the demise of many conflicts in the world over the past multiple centuries.

For example, religion has historically been the demise of many conflicts in the world over the past multiple centuries. They'll get fixed eventually as our values and technology change. Human Rights wasn't a customary international law until AFTER WWII ended and the first Nuke exploded. Computer intelligence will eventually overtake societies, the ones that don't assimilate that technology will eventually disappear. This is all bearing in mind we don't **** up the Earth before then though

Do you guys believe capitalism and competitive nature is good for the world? Or is a socialistic structure neutral enough to possibly limit the greed that one may consider a root of all evil?

The concept that there is a "good" and an "evil" is children's nonsense. The Human psyche is too complex to group someone as good or evil.

Zionism's roots are from England and parts of the Ukraine and Former USSR.
If there is one single nation to blame for the current state of affairs in Israel/Palestine it is England.
No offense to British ISH'ers!

Insecurity ..people are insecure bout all the so called "evils", religion, money , themselves ,other people..
Evil is an interesting concept because it only exists within intelligent beings. A lion can never be considered evil, because it is primal. A human can be considered evil because we have the ability to analyze, consider, and question.
In that way, the root of evil is undoubtedly intelligence. Evil is always a question of motive, and only intelligent beings can have motive. Non-intelligent beings have desires, drives, and instincts, but not motive. If a bear kills a baby bear so that he can mate with his Mother, it is not evil. If a human kills a baby human for that reason, it is evil. Intent, purpose, plotting. Signals of intelligence, and necessities to define evil.
An interesting observation is that evil can never stem from our primal emotions. When we are angry and hit someone, we do not call it evil. But when we think about it, ponder it, in a state of calm, rational thought, it becomes evil. If we are sad and kill ourselves, it is not evil. If we kill ourselves with the intent to hurt our family, it becomes some shade of evil.
Interestingly, we do not attribute evil to the slaughter of primal animals. It is not usually thought of as evil to kill a bug, even if its not bothering you. But to kill a dolphin? A whale? A dog, which we attribute human traits to? You are evil. Especially if it wasnt for food, or in a dire survival situation.
