I just cleared my computer of all viruses. It was actually very simple. It may still be in my computer but it is contained and has no effect on my computers what so ever. One reason why I haven't been on here for a couple of days.

i swear ever siince google did that Internet clean up with that website virus warning stuff i haven't been hit with anything that i'm aware of yet. I mean i could have something and not know it, but before that i'd get shit where my whole computer was fukked up. i even have a laptop with no antivirus on it and haven't caught anything on it yet, and its been more than a year.

I have a program from the a message board like ISH. They cool as hell and the message board made a program to combat viruses. Kind of like if ISH had their own basketball team.

Anyways, this thing is sweet as hell and constantly being updated. It gets rid of viruses and on top of that it tells you what the virus' name is. Therefore, if they can't get it out, one simple google and messing with the registry will clear all viruses.

They mostly run in the background, so I turn everything off and STOP them from running every time my computer is started.

Such a great thing. I have learned a lot this week in regards to stopping viruses. Remember, they want to direct you to certain websites. They don't want to crash your computer because then you can't go to those sites. Therefore, it is real easy to fix yourself.

How are you sure you got rid of all viruses?

I have 2 virus on my computer. One is just a messed up registry root key that I can't get rid of but it doesn't mess with my computer and the other is Norton Anti-Virus which I cannot delete for some reason. It is always popping up to tell me to update. By definition from cyberlaw, Norton is a virus.

The 2nd one runs on my Task Manager but I shut it off. It is really easy and I feel stupid that I only found out how to do this myself.

Also, one more thing....do not buy any Anti-Virus program. They are a virus except theY can do it legally by making you BUY and PAY MONTHLY.

All you need is:

- A legit program to find the virus, which I have and if you want PM me.

- Microsoft Security Essentials (FREE) - what better program to use for protection than from the OS.
