Totally agree. Stephen Curry, imo, is the most underpaid player in the league. He should totally be getting 17 or 18 million right now.

Well, Stephen was constantly injured at the time and nobody was sure about his ankles.

I think he's getting paid what he deserves. The Bulls offered him 3/30m and he declined, hoping for a better offer in free agency. I'm assuming the best offer was the one that he took, 2/20m from Miami so essentially his/his agent's greed cost him 10 million. I'm sure if he could do it over again he would have been happy to take the Bulls offer.

At the time, the Warriors were considered to be gambling on him with that contract. He was paid what his worth was given his injury history, possibly even more than his worth.

Yea, one of Donnie Walsh's many failures as GM of the Knicks. Curiously he's still thought of as a good GM. Don't understand why.

He should have gotten a 3 years, 36 million deal from the Hawks. Really even 4 years, $48 million.

The Hawks have trouble getting free agents and he would be a little overpaid, but not too badly.

If the Hawks had Deng, with Sefolosha, and one of our young players developing (Payne, Scott, Muscala), the Hawks could have competed for 2nd in the East.

But Danny Ferry messed that one up.

Duderonomy
10-19-2014, 10:08 AM
:facepalm Thats pretty much the going rate so no there's nothing to think about. Deng has been a non factor on the win/loss column the past 2 seasons. If he wasn't the Bulls wouldn't have traded him for nothing. Lebron and Deng are switching teams, but theres more it than that. Heat are aging and Cavs also traded for Love and have a new coach.
