Why the hell would a normal, intellectual person even think of going to a shithole full of degraded pieces of shit a.k.a a bar?

Yep. THe first thing people always notice when they start going out are the cray prices. From the drinks, to the dinners, to the getting into the clubs.

What kind of bar did you go to?

I went to a small school with only 5 bars in the downtown area. Showed up hammered, got some whiskey shots and beer. All was fairly cheap. Think I had 5 total drinks there, my friend had 4 and he paid a tab of under 30 bucks.

Pretty ****ing shitty. Realized bars suck if you can't get drunk or show up drunk. They allowed 18+. It was christmas day in some podunk town in Texas.

First real bar experience was a Holiday Inn Express bar in Pennsylvania. I wasn't legally allowed to be in there but they let it slide and just didn't serve me. Didn't stop me from taking shots in the bathroom though.

Bar fight broke out from a wedding that was held downstairs. (They of course came upstairs to the bar.) Pretty ****ing hilarious. Small asian dude jumping on big white dude and grabbing an ash tray trying to look hard.
Girls jumping on other dudes. Will always remember that.

First bar experience as a 21 year old? Yeah...don't remember after the Long Island Iced Tea I had.

I still can't decide whether that was cheap or expensive maid service.

It's ****ing absurd for me that the US has 16 year olds driving around but you can't go to a god damn bar before turning 21

first year university, first week of frosh, cross the border over to quebec for 18 age drinking law, went to "Le Bop" in gatineau which was a packed rundown nightclub with a median age of probably 16, did not get any tail cuz i was a frightened nerdy easterner out of his element, but my friends did witness a stabbing (so they claim) and shortly after the cops showed up just outside the bar we hightailed it outta there in a cab lol

Got into my first bar when I was 14.

I remember someone telling me that the bartender could still card even after they let you in, so order something that made you look like you knew what you were doing. I ordered a Melon Ball.
