Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror for a long ass time?

I should've made a thread about this earlier. It just came back to me. Anyway, 2 weeks ago I went to my best friend's birthday party and I was dressed real sharp. I had some really nice black slacks with a brown Louis Vuitton belt. For my top I wore a black dress shirt buttoned all the way and had my sleeves rolled up to my elbows. I also wore a blue bow tie and a black bulova men's watch.

When I came home, I went straight to the bathroom and you know... did my thing. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror. I made a lot of different poses. Pretended like I was some top super model. I did a 'chin touch' pose and a ton of hand cross poses. I just remember looking at myself for something like 45 minutes. I thought I looked like the best human being in the world that night.

When I was on pot, I would stare at myself for hours in the mirror. I would literally sit on the toilet and smoke endless amounts of bowls and look at myself in the mirror, which is behind my toilet.

Though the pot made me dumb, this activity was a big part of my self-evolution

I really love looking at myself and posing, especially shirtless. Sometimes naked, but usually not.

If my pubes were shaved, I would sometimes bring my laptop into the bathroom, smoke a bowl, look at porn, and pose with my boner as if I was a porn-star. I did do the tuck thing on various occasions, but that was just out of boredom and curiosity

i just asked my dad this question. but not looking at yourself in a mirror posing like some whore; rather just staring at your own face and existentially reflecting on the vessel you inhabit and how it's strangely foreign when contrasted with your 'self' which is more or less immaterial.

sorta taking your autopilot dualist mentality and intimidating it into monist submission.. since monism is like right and dualism is bullshit even tho its how we conceive of ourselves a priori

so yea i do it sometimes. less often than i should. it's a valuable exercise imo. a form of tangible meditation if u will.
