A Horford. He stays healthy, decent footwork in and around the paint, hits the mid-range jumper, and decent on the defensive end.

:wtf:

Either way the obvious choice is Al Horford, though.

Really? It's Horford without any second thoughts. I'd murder a few people on this board if it meant getting Horford on the Raptors.

This is a pretty scary thought, although everything he said I also echo.

Horford but I would like to see more of a healthy Brook. He simply can't catch a break.

Al Horford, no question.

Horford's a top 5 Center when he's healthy, no question. The same can be debated with Lopez though

Over healthy Lopez?

Over healthy Lopez?

Al is more well rounded, while a healthy Lopez is a better scorer. Lopez is a horrid rebounder for his size.

Horford without hesitation.

Healthy Lopez is just a really good scorer. He's not a good defender and he can't rebound to save his life. A healthy Horford can easily average 18-20 ppg and about 10 rpg. Also, his defense is pretty good. That's why im picking him.

He's not a bad defender though? Which centers go off against him? I can't think of any... He's a great help side defender. He changes a lot of shots Rebounding and being slow are his only two true issues.

I'm still taking Horford over him

I'm taking Horford because he's more versatile (can play PF/C), better 2 way player, and can impact the game more without having the ball in his hands.

It sucks that both of them are so injury prone now. Lopez is already hurt and you just have a bad feeling Al's going to get hurt during the season the more he continues to play C.

Horford. He had an argument for best C in the league in 2011-12.

I think you meant 12/13. Horford only played 11 games in 11/12. In comparison off Horford vs Lopez in 12/13, this stuck out to me the most as both played 74 games:

Lopez - 12 Double Doubles

Horford - 43 Double Doubles

Also, Al was All-NBA 3rd team. Again, he just does more for his team without the ball when he's healthy.
