View Full Version : Lebron could not survive being Coached by Phil Jackson

Mentally. Skill and talent ofc he would fit in the triangle , but I was thinking about it and on pure mental level, Lebron would hate to have Phil as a Coach. Why do you think Shaq, Kobe and Jordan are such headcases? They have zero filter because of Phil.

Mind games, taking shots through the media etc. Lebron was offended by Pat Riley's little monologue on his exit interview , that's the type of shit Phil says from game to game. Mind you, Riles may have taken a more aggressive choice of words , but still.

Either way, that's just my opinion. Do you think Lebron could have handled the psychological warfare Phil would dish out?

What does that have to do with Lebron's mental toughness?

This.

Either you're so upset at what the title said you didn't read the OP. Or you just can't read.

Where did I say Phil wouldn't wanna Coach Lebron? This is about how Lebron would react to Jackson's style of coaching from a mental standpoint.

Now we're gonna act like he's the epitome of mental toughness?

I actually think if Lebron was coached by Jackson right out the gate, he would have won a ring sooner. And probably would have never left Cleveland.

Without commenting on lebrons perceived mental toughness, wouldn't phil Jackson be most interested in coaching for the best of the team? So I'm sure any version of lebron that people have in their minds would be fine.
