Statistically it will likely be Rose because his teammates are relatively offensively inept. But Kyrie will translate to more wins.

Well Kyrie dropped 28/7 on Rose today while leading his team to a win.

Don't even know what Rose put up since he was a non factor and his team lost

It's pretty clear Rose is the more talented player, the question being whether he can play an entire season without tweaking his knee

This is Kyrie Irving, not LeBron James. Derrick Rose WHEN HEALTHY is definitely more talented - better scorer, better defender. Passing/playmaking equal

ya, kyrie started out slow, but finally got serious - and dude started playing like it was team USA vs serbia.

outside shooting seems to be one of rose's weaknesses.

we'll see though.

rose had 20 at halftime against kyrie's 8. it wasn't close. and on the few trips down when rose guarded kyrie in the fourth quarter, he locked him up.

but kyrie had a crazy 3rd quarter. the guy knew he was gonna score every time he decided to.

more wins relative to what? Kyrie probably adds like 5 wins to waiters/lebron/love/andy V.. maybe 55 wins to 60? Rose adds signifigantly more to the bulls.

oh ya.. he was impressive tonight. i just dont think his midrange and 3 is consistent enough to be called a "good". kyrie OTH is an elite shooter..

Not sure that argument is really relevant. Rose would probably add no more wins to a roster like the one the Cavs have than Kyrie does if you swapped them out.

Truth be told, Rose really should be more impactful at this stage. He's 26 and should be in his prime. Kyrie is still just 22.

With Love and James, I don't think Kyrie will be averaging 20+ points. A 10+ assist average for sure. Statistically an healthy Rose will be more productive.

Well Rose was an MVP at 22. Age really isn't an excuse.

Rose is a more impactful player than Kyrie when healthy. Rose on that Cavs team, again when healthy, is their second best player. But he is more willing to sacrifice then Kyrie. He and LeBron, as much as I hate to say it, would actually work out pretty damn well because neither are selfish. Only when need be.

eh, i think you're making excuses. rose is healthy and has said he's gained all of his explosion and athleticism back (eye test confirms this).

rose is in his prime, kyrie is not, so rose by all accounts should be better.

This doesn't really matter. Rose at 22 was better than Irving right now. A healthy and in-form Derrick Rose regardless of age is just a better player than Kyrie Irving..and we're starting to see that for the first time in a while.

It's not like FIBA was Rose's way of getting into game shape after missing almost 2 seasons or anything. Curry also sucked in FIBA. Guess his days of being an elite PG are over.

Irving couldn't carry a stacked Duke team. Luckily for him he gets to play with the best guys on an NBA court. You know. The guys with the zebra stripes.
