This whole recruiting players stuff is overrated. It's clear as day that both Bron and Melo had there minds made up even before free agency started. Lebron wanted to be a hero and to return to the Cavs while still in his prime, and Melo simply wanted Money. Them not coming to LA had nothing to do with Kobe.
