Are Kobe fans seriously going to judge how Gasol is bad now? Gasol is 3 years past his prime which was during 08-10.

If Bulls had prime gasol they would be a championship contender.

Kobe haters like yourself don't seem to have a problem judging 36 year old, 19th year in the league Kobe who is coming off a torn Achilles and knee fracture. :confusedshrug:

The only difference seems to be motivation.. its weird because Pau has never relied on quickness or athleticism. Just skill, mid range shooting, post moves, and hustle with blocking o-rebounding.

The most noticeable change is in his midrange shot.. For playoffs..

08: 28%
09: 46%
10: 48%
11: 32%
12: 40%
13: 20%

Notice how LA won with pau shooting well on that pick and pop mid range? It opens up his game. Now I dont know if he is shooting worse from that range because of less separation on the PnR due to Kobe's decline in 2011 or if he just stopped practicing shooting...

His legs doesn't seem to be able to carry him anymore. Prime Pau is one of my favorites ever and there is a huge difference between championship Pau and today, most noticeably his lift. He doesn't live on his athleticism but the little he had helped him a lot. After all the injuries he has struggled or just haven't given a **** bcz the owners wanted to get rid of him. I can't really blame him. He always looks good with Spain.

I hope we can see him do good this year. I wish him all the best away from LA.

Yea idk.. When I watch Pau shoot, lift has never seemed to be an important part of his shot.. hes kinda flat footed, just jumps a little bit but it doesnt seem like most of the power behind his shot comes from his legs like a guards would(ray allen for example)

Maybe its a confidence issue? Im not sure.. but i was watching him today vs the cavs, and he had a few open midrange jumpers he didnt convert.. wide open free throw line type shots, no reason he couldnt make them.

Kobe got beaten taking a gamble. That's how defense is played, you have to have faith in your team's D when rolling the dice. Sometimes it pays off other times you get played out in a gif on the Internet.
