Wall is more athletic in transtion Teague is more athletic in the half court. But i would take Teagues quickness over Walls speed yeah Walls athleticism is great to watch when he is on the fast break but Teagues athletcicsim is more useful.

By the way quickness is the most important and useful part of a gaurds athleticism.

All of Walls highlights are sprints down the floor and in this you will see how Wall has to start all the way from halfcourt to beat Evan Turner.

Teague has better overall skills than Wall, but he is more inconsistent. And Teague lacks a consistent floater and 18 foot jumper. Otherwise, if he had those, he could be the best point guard in the East.

Wall is far more consistent night in and night out, and he can explode for huge games, which Teague doesn't do often.

Wall is much better than Teague overall, especially in running an offense and distributing the ball.

Teague may have a (slightly) better first step.

Teague's biggest problem is that he's a complete moron. He always does well in the playoffs because he actually puts his head down and attacks the basket, while in the regular season he's content to just settle for jumpers and floaters, (which he's not particularly good at). Still don't mind having him at $9mil/yr though.

John Wall is near 6'5" now. Teague probably is quicker from a standstill, but he's a much smaller guy. In terms of top speed it's clearly Wall.
