Not sure why Doc Rivers insist on playing Barnes so much..3-33 in the preseason. CDR should start until Barnes starts playing like an NBA player.

I really do think the Suns are going to be playoff level good this year. This team is nice. I know it seem absurd to say it but I think they're better than the Clippers.

It feels like it's only Blake and CP3 playing for the Clippers. I kind of like this Jared Cunningham kid. Not a good passer, but he's good at drawing fouls and athletic. Good defender too.

The Suns owned on the Blazers last year. They remind me of Memphis. Bad match up. The really exploit teams that rely on superstar offense. I don't think the Clippers or Blazers are particularly good defensive teams and Suns take advantage of that.

The Clippers have some serious issues with the SF position. They need to sort that crap out. Barnes is not a starter..probably not a rotation player the way he's playing.
Entertaining game. Almost like a regular season game.

Did the Clippers just wanna make a statement this game or give Blake/CP3 some momentum or something? Because Blake at 40 minutes, CP at 37, and Redick at 34 seems a bit excessive.

I think this was the first home game Ballmer attended as owner of LAC. Plus, they probably wanted to build some momentum- don't think they've won much this preseason (not that it really matters), but Rivers probably wanted to have a good showing.
