Excerpt:

Mr. Day’s history and findings are so characteristic that I am confident that Mr. Day has lung disease related to his coal mining,” Parker wrote in his report. “I am so confident, that I am indeed certain a biopsy or an autopsy, if performed, would confirm my diagnosis.”

Wheeler, by contrast, had been asked during a deposition in 2009 whether the spots he saw were black lung. “They’re not,” he testified (https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/1309446-wheeler-deposition-in-steve-day-case.html).

Isn't it time these coal companies are forced to pay out well-earned benefits to those families? All those 40 years of cases that "Doctor" Wheeler oversaw ought to be re-opened and reviewed by an independent OSHA doctor.

This is not something new. Coal miners have a history of these problems. It is obvious that it comes with the territory.

Kind of like those guys that pave the road with the stank ass tar. I am surprised those guys don't wear some kind of a mask.
